when was the last time you had a solid dose of zombies, aliens, and just plain old black morbidity? if it's been a little while, you can re-up on it all at the
kimo art gallery in downtown albuquerque. tonight is the opening reception for "imprint," an exhibition by printmakers
jeremy montoya,
jonito sanchez, and channing avery. their silk screens and block prints are entertainingly rich with all the spacey, freaky, and morbid themes that new mexicans hold so dear. and plenty of rock to go with it. the opening reception is tonight, thursday february 24th, from 6-8pm, and the show will run through april 2nd, 2011. check it out.
